McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Dallas seeks a Project Accountant to support the financial health of project budgets and ensure compliance.
You will partner with project leadership on cost control, forecasting and reporting, coordinating with teams to maintain accurate budgets. The role requires 5+ years in admin or 2+ years in accounting within construction, strong MS Office skills, and experience with CMiC or Procore is a plus.

The Project Accountant is responsible for supporting the project(s) overall financial health, transparency and compliance by partnering with project(s) leadership on specific project(s) goals. This position requires strong understanding of project cost, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with project teams to ensure the financial success of our construction projects. This position may be located at a single project or may be located at a central office with occasional travel to local project sites. The Project Accountant will report to the Project Manager if assigned to a single project or may report to the local Finance Business Partner if involved on multiple projects.
