Job summary

Roller Die + Forming USA in Louisville, KY is seeking an experienced machine operator for stamping and roll-forming lines. You will set up and calibrate equipment, read blueprints, verify tolerances with hand metrology, and adjust feeds and tooling to meet quality and throughput goals.

You will monitor operations, perform on-the-spot repairs, participate in changeovers, and document settings for traceability. A solid mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operations is a plus.
• Machine shop training in mechanics, shop math, metal properties, and layout machining procedures is required.
• Proven background operating manufacturing equipment in a production environment with hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, align, and calibrate stamping and forming machinery to meet specifications and throughput targets.
• Continuously monitor operations and fine-tune feeds, speeds, and tooling to hold tolerances and optimize performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and execute on-the-spot repairs to reduce downtime.
• Partner with production and quality to schedule changeovers and maintain smooth workflow.
• Record machine settings, part counts, and quality data accurately for traceability and control.
• Champion 5S and safety protocols to keep the cell clean, organized, and compliant.
