Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Diploma required.
• BCLS and ACLS certification or instructor eligibility within stated timelines.
• RN or APRN credential required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the medical record promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac/medical-surgical patients.
