Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers. The RN provides pre-operative and post-operative care and advocates for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

The role involves admission assessments, medication administration, and thorough documentation, with a focus on cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure to practice in the state.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 1+ years RN experience required.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
