Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated RN for the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. The role supports delivering high-quality patient care on a 7PM-7AM schedule, with holiday rotation and every 3rd weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred but nursing degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• NIH Stroke Scale training on hire or within 6 months.
• ACLS within one year of employment; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care per plan of care.
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and adjust care accordingly.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Administer medications safely and document appropriately.
• Deliver SBAR-style handoffs and coordinate discharge planning.
