Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care before and after surgery. You will collaborate with physicians to support an exceptional patient experience and document care thoroughly.

Responsibilities include assessing patient status on admission and each shift, administering medications, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications

• RN Diploma is required.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of employment start date.
• (APRN) Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or RN licensure is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
