Job summary

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Carle Health is seeking an Experienced Inpatient RN with at least 1 year of experience. The unit features an 18-bed intermediate care setting with telemetry monitoring and frequent nursing assessments, including hourly rounding and daily care plans.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus and a $2,500 BSN bonus are offered for eligible external applicants. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, plan-of-care development, documentation, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications required within 1 year.
• Nursing diploma required.
• Experience: >1 year in inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care and care plans.
• Executes plan of care, nursing interventions, and post-operative care as indicated.
• Ensures patient and staff safety and resolves issues through communication.
