Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure or compact license with active status; must obtain FL license within 60 days of hire.
• Graduation from an approved nursing program (Diploma or ASN); BSN preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions; strong interpersonal skills and service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
