Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PCU. Collaborating with providers, you will assist pre- and post-operative patients and advocate for an exceptional patient experience.

You will assess patients on admission and each shift, document care in the chart, administer medications, and stay informed on cardiac care procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 60 months of start date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the provider.
• Document care in the medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) license

Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree
