Job summary

TriCities Hospital in Hopewell, VA is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN Virginia license or a multistate compact license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document care in the patient record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
