Job summary

ChristianaCare, Union Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Day Shift on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This part-time role (24 hours per week) involves 7am–7pm shifts with rotating weekends/holidays, in a busy ICU-adjacent setting.

You will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care to acutely ill patients and advance critical care skills. BSN is required (ADN candidates must commit to earning a BSN within three years).

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN candidates must commit to obtaining BSN within three years of hire
• At least one year of acute care experience
• BLS required; ACLS preferred; must obtain within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including pharmacy, respiratory, intensivists, PAs and other consultants
• Support day shift operations and maintain quality patient care on a part-time schedule
