Job summary

ChristianaCare, Union Hospital in Elkton, MD, is seeking a dedicated RN for a part-time night-shift position in the Progressive Care Unit. Required BSN, minimum one year in acute care, and BLS; ACLS is preferred with completion within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADNs may apply if committed to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• At least one year of acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS preferred; must obtain within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with ICU collaboration.
• Work in interdisciplinary team with pharmacy, respiratory, intensivists, PAs and consultants.
• Adhere to night shift expectations and the 7am–7pm schedule when applicable, including every other weekend and holidays.
