Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital, part of the Manatee Healthcare System in Bradenton, FL, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit.

The RN provides safe, competent nursing care, communicates with physicians and staff, administers IVs and medications, and monitors patient vital signs using standard equipment. Florida RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke certification required, with growth opportunities within UHS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, coordinating care.
• Administers IVs and medications to aid patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.

Education

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

Current RN licensure in Florida

Current BLS through American Heart Association

Current ACLS through American Heart Association

Current NIH Stroke Certification
