Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks an RN to join our acute care team at 13100 Fort King Rd, Dade City. This full-time, day-shift role includes a $10k sign-on bonus and opportunities for salary growth through the Clinical Ladder program.

Grow with us as you perform patient assessments, coordinate care, and participate in hourly rounding using AIDET. Florida RN licensure and 1+ year acute care preferred; BLS required.

Qualifications

• RN license or compact state license (Florida)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
• Hourly rounding using the AIDET technique
• Able to manage multiple duties with safety and regulatory compliance
• Basic computer skills and teamwork for patient care

Responsibilities

• Participates in peer interviewing and review processes.
• Assesses patients within established timeframes and initiates consults.
• Maintains safe practices and adheres to regulatory standards.
• Ensures accurate handoff communications and documentation.
• Collaborates with care teams to manage patient flow and discharge planning.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
