Job summary

Angel Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care unit. The 30-bed unit cares for step-down, med-surg, and swing patients, with emphasis on building patient and family relationships and delivering empathetic, high-quality care.

The RN will lead nursing care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, and document care plans. Requirements include NC nursing licensure, BLS, and 1 year hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or BSN in Nursing.
• Current RN license with North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
• RN must obtain license within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• At least 1 year hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure delivery of professional nursing care.
• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and patient teaching.
