Job summary

Medical City Alliance in Fort Worth is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work with medical providers to deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Candidates should have an associate degree in nursing (BSN preferred) and be licensed in Texas. Two years of relevant experience and BLS/ACLS are expected, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in cardiac/medical-surgical care.
• Pre-operative and post-operative nursing care familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by provider.
• Document care administration in the patient record timely and thoroughly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures and equipment used in cardiac/medical-surgical care.
