Job summary

LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center in Michigan is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the 5 Central Surgical PCU within Patient Care Services. The RN delivers foundational nursing care, assesses patients, and coordinates care with the interprofessional team.

Position requires licensure in the United States, ACEN/CCNE-accredited education, and English proficiency for direct patient care. Nights/weekend rotations and federal employee benefits apply.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with ACEN/CCNE accreditation.
• Current, full, active RN license in a US state or territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fundamental knowledge-based nursing care in the SPCU unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
• Administer medications per policies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve care.
