About the Role

Freedom Property Investors is seeking a Progress Payment Officer to manage and process progress payments for Australian construction projects. You will work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure payments are accurate, timely, and compliant.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end progress payments for Australian construction projects
  • Review and verify project documentation and payment requests
  • Coordinate payment schedules with project managers and contractors
  • Process payments in accordance with contract terms
  • Maintain accurate payment records and supporting documents
  • Conduct audits and resolve any payment discrepancies
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in Australian loan settlements or construction progress payments
  • Background in Australian real estate or loan processing (preferred)
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field
Technical Requirements
  • Windows 11 or MacOS 13+, minimum 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, Dual Core CPU
  • HD webcam (720p) and noise-cancelling headset
  • Minimum 50 Mbps stable internet connection
