Vertical View is seeking a part-time Youth Programs Coordinator to help coaches, instructors, and belayers design and oversee climbing programs for youth. You will work closely with leadership to implement engaging curriculums and memorable experiences that advance climber progression.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of clubs and camps, coordinating scheduling, budgeting, and staff training, and maintaining safety standards.

Support and represent the Leadership Team
Oversee daily operations of clubs, camps, community events, teams and climbers education
Build strong relationships with members and families
Possess strong, well-rounded knowledge of the climbing industry with the confidence to lead others
Develop engaging curriculum and training materials
Lead team logistics, including billing, travel, USAC events, and budgeting
Lead effective and efficient training sessions.

Keep systems, schedules, and policies up to date
Handle all onboarding processes
Track budgets and manage program supplies
Communicate clearly and respond promptly across platforms
Coordinate space and schedule needs with other departments
Maintain safety certifications with SafeSport and assist with staff training
Identify and support climber progression from clubs and camps to teams.
MENTORSHIP || You build community through support and leadership.
Hire, train, schedule, and manage youth programs, community events, and climbers ed staff;
Give consistent feedback through reviews and conversations
Conduct brief Quarterly Conversations and annual employee performance reviews
Handle conflicts or concerns, either between staff or customers, with care and professionalism
Coordinate quarterly department meetings to build connection and consistency
Ensure staff deliver safe, high-quality instruction and adherence to training and facility standards
Part-Time | $17–$19/hour DOE
1+ years of experience in the climbing industry
Familiarity with operations, scheduling, and climbing operations
Strong organizational, people, and communication skills
Comfortable with department software and digital tools preferred
CPR/First Aid certification (provided by Vertical View)
