We are seeking a Memory Care Programming Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will organize and implement programs tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents. Our programming aims to fulfill psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs while promoting self-esteem in a caring, nurturing environment. The Programming Coordinator supports and assists with all necessary programming activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, oversee, implement, and evaluate community programs to enhance residents' experiences and develop relationships with residents, families, and community organizations.
  • Manage scheduling of events, trips, meetings, room bookings, and group functions.
  • Develop, promote, coordinate, and oversee community events.
  • Edit, produce, and distribute a monthly community newsletter.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in aging and dementia knowledge.
  • Experience and training to develop a comprehensive program calendar for elders and individuals with dementia.
  • Current CPR certification if required.
  • Flexible schedule; willing to work weekends and holidays.
