Job description

The Programming Operations Manager will support the day-to-day tracking and reporting of initiatives within the Programming organization, partner closely with cross-functional teams, and prepare executive presentation materials. The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative and diplomatic approach. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Programming Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects related to the Programming team’s initiatives, including planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution. Maintain regular reporting and communication cadence.
  • Assist in creating presentations by gathering inputs from stakeholders and designing decks.
  • Facilitate team meetings with agenda setting, guest coordination, note-taking, follow-ups, and defining next steps.
  • Build and maintain a network of leaders within DTC Streaming and across The Walt Disney Company.
  • Support ad hoc projects and requests as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in project management, content planning, or content programming
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to prepare executive-level presentations
  • Experience managing projects and programs with strong organizational skills
  • High emotional intelligence and a collaborative spirit
  • Diplomatic mindset and ability to work effectively in a team and matrixed environment
  • Adaptability to new technology and fast-paced organizational changes
  • Experience with Airtable or similar project management tools
  • Passion for Disney segments, brands, and franchises

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA, is $94,200 to $126,200 per year. The actual offer will consider internal equity, candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, and experience. Compensation may include bonuses and long-term incentives, along with medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the level and position.
