Job summary

CTS Engines in Florida is seeking a software developer to build and maintain front-end and integration software for the Quantum Aviation system, within an enterprise process framework.

You will work with IT professionals to support existing in-house apps, enhance data entry efficiency, and develop new applications; experience with C#, Oracle, VB.NET and Crystal Reports is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with C# WinForms and Oracle development.
• Experience maintaining Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports .NET and ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for the production environment.
• Monitor, diagnose, and fix software bugs.
• Identify user-entry and process errors; implement preventive methods.
• Improve processes and routines to raise accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop new applications per process structure requirements.
• Support basic Oracle database functions.
• Perform schema restores for environment management.
• Assist with monthly accounting close tasks.

Description

The candidate will support the operation by developing software which integrates and acts as a front-end for the Quantum Aviation system. The software acts within the framework of an integrated process structure for efficiently handling aircraft engine repair. The developer will work with a team of IT professionals that provide support for existing in-house applications and direction for the development of new applications to speed up data entry and improve enterprise processes.

Skill Set

• C# Winforms, Oracle developer (core skill set)
• VB .net (support of legacy code base)
• Windows server environment
• Oracle DBA skills are a plus
• Crystal Reports .net
• Quantum ERP a strong plus
• Aviation experience helpful

Responsibilities
