Job summary

Vivid Soft Global in Dublin, OH is seeking a software development professional to join a client-focused team. You will translate client needs into actionable plans, develop software per project plans, and ensure quality with users and QA to deliver robust solutions.

Travel and relocation across the US are required to work with clients; you will use Teradata, Teradata Administrator, Teradata Viewpoint, Tableau and Erwin to implement solutions and provide ongoing support and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 12 months of experience required, with Teradata, Teradata Administrator, Teradata Viewpoint, Tableau and Erwin.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a team to develop software meeting client needs.
• Translate client requirements into plans for product development for leadership approval.
• Develop software per project plan and industry best practices; document and provide support/upgrades as needed.
• Travel and relocation to various locations across the US to work with clients; travel frequency determined by client needs.
• Collaborate with users and QA to ensure system works as intended and resolve issues.
• Utilize Teradata, Teradata Administrator, Teradata Viewpoint, Tableau and Erwin.

Job Duties

Work as a member of a team and develop software to meet client needs. Work with client to understand needs/requirements and translate them into plans for product development to be approved by leadership. Develop software pursuant to project plan and company/industry best practices. Confer with users and QA personnel to ensure that system works as intended and resolve any identified issues. Document the developed software and providesupport/upgrades as needed. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US required. The purpose of travel and/or relocation would be to work with clients on projects. The frequency of travel and/or relocation will be determined by the needs of clients. Utilize the following tools and technologies: Teradata, Teradata Administrator, Teradata Viewpoint, Tableau, Erwin.

Special Skills
