Job summary

vTech Solution in Michigan is seeking a Programmer Analyst 6 to manage and enhance Build and Release processes for Bridges and MiSACWIS, driving automation to support CI/CD and testing in a hybrid work environment.

You will serve as a liaison between DTMB DHHS and vendors, deploy new releases, and mentor staff on build automation and configuration management, with on-site Mondays and Tuesdays in Lansing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in build automation, software configuration, and version management processes.
• Experience researching, evaluating, and deploying application software related to configuration and version management.
• Strong expertise in providing technical guidance on project administration and management for build automation and configuration management.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools such as ClearCase, ClearQuest, Git/Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with build automation tools including Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Ant.
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with issue and work tracking systems such as Jira and Azure DevOps Boards.
• Proficient in scripting languages including Perl, Shell, and Python.

• Create and update process documentation for SACWIS (ADO) and Bridges build processes.
• Perform build and deployment activities across multiple Bridges environments, managing tasks and variables through build and deployment stages.
• Serve as Azure DevOps (ADO) Administrator for SACWIS builds and deployments, managing branches across development stages.
• Assess and resolve ADO and build-process issues, determining when external support is required.

The Programmer Analyst 6 will serve as a key contract resource for the State of Michigan's Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), focusing on managing and enhancing Application Build and Release processes. This role includes implementing automation to support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) for testing activities, primarily for the Bridges and MiSACWIS applications. Special Considerations

• Hybrid work schedule with mandatory on-site presence every Monday and Tuesday in Lansing, Michigan.
• Candidates must be able to relocate to Lansing at their own expense and be on-site from day one (non-negotiable).
