Job summary

Stafford Gray is seeking a seasoned Salesforce Developer to design, build, and deploy CRM solutions for a large-scale contact center environment.

You will own technical directions, drive release cycles, and ensure security, performance, and data integrity across systems, while collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on Salesforce development across the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
  • Experience with Service Cloud and Digital Experience Sites.
  • Ability to gather requirements with stakeholders and translate into technical designs.
  • Proven track record delivering business value through technology.
  • Experience with integrations using REST APIs and OAuth.
  • Experience with data migrations and AppExchange products.

Responsibilities

  • Work with colleagues, customers, and end users to define technical requirements for new projects and any future enhancements.
  • Ensure that technical requirements tie back to established customer requirements and performance goals, and that technical direction is consistent with long-term strategy.
  • Take ownership of release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
  • Hold overall technical responsibility for the technical aspects of the project environments.
  • Compile internal development guidelines/standards for the development team and ensure the team follows those standards.
  • Collaborate with developers on other systems to integrate across the business.
  • Ensure proposed solutions adhere to established security guidelines and standards throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology, with the ability to communicate strategic technical concepts at an executive level.
  • Devise a training plan for the development team for a smooth transition to Maintenance & Operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job description

As a Salesforce Developer, you'll be responsible for the development, design, and implementation of customizable CRM solutions supporting a large-scale contact center environment. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Salesforce:
  • Strong knowledge and working experience in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Participation in each phase of full Salesforce.com lifecycle implementations.
  • In‑depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce platform.
  • Strong hands‑on experience writing Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience implementing solutions using configuration (no‑code) tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
  • Work with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive implementation of technical solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience integrating Salesforce with cloud‑based and on‑premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs.
  • Strong experience with core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML).
  • Hands‑on experience implementing authentication protocols (OAuth) to integrate third‑party applications.
  • Demonstrated experience with Batch Apex and/or Scheduled Apex development.
  • End‑to‑end ownership of technical aspects of a Salesforce.com program: data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, third‑party applications, AppExchange products, and custom development.
  • Define, communicate, and manage technical change management (e.g., release) processes for Salesforce technology efforts.
  • Assess Salesforce architecture and provide secure, high‑performance technical solutions on the platform.
  • Design and document technical architecture solutions that span multiple platforms, including integration and authentication across systems.
  • Support SFDX development, branch management, merging, and code deployment activities using a CI/CD process.
  • Identify risks and issues from a technical perspective.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Salesforce, including SFDX and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle.
  • 6+ years of strong Salesforce development experience.
  • 4+ years of experience developing within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, HTML5, and JavaScript.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
  • Strong experience migrating from Classic to Lightning.
  • Experience migrating legacy Visualforce portals to Digital Experience Sites.
  • 5+ years of experience with GoMeddo Scheduling customization, or equivalent experience with similar scheduling products.
  • 5+ years of experience with Conga Composer.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce Lightning, including LWC.
Preferred Skills:
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud certification
Other Desired Skills/Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience working with Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud
  • 2+ years of experience with API integrations and Single Sign‑On (SSO) implementations
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable tools for requirements tracking, CI/CD, or release management
  • Exposure to data migration and/or cloud integration projects
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Additional experience that is beneficial but not required, including familiarity with governmental processes and compliance, including prior experience with FedRAMP‑compliant tools and environments
