Job summary

Native Energy Solutions LLC in Midland, TX is seeking a PLC and HMI programmer and integrator to support oil & gas projects. You will program and integrate PLCs/HMI, troubleshoot control systems, configure VFDs, and assist with commissioning.

Work will involve field assignments in customer facilities, reporting to the NES manager and customer PIC, with a focus on reliability and safety. A strong understanding of electrical theory, Windows OS, and industrial protocols is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming and integration.
• Familiar with Windows OS and Microsoft Office in daily tasks.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, TCP, Modbus, HART).

Responsibilities

• Program and integrate PLC and HMI systems for oil & gas processes.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade process control hardware and software.
• Configure VFDs, sensors, and communication networks; perform commissioning.
• Conduct P2P checkouts and support field installations at facilities.
• Coordinate with NES manager and customer PIC for tasks and scheduling.

We are an automation and electrical integrator providing services to the oil & gas, industrial, and related industries. Our expertise covers virtually all facets of electrical contracting for the upstream oil & gas industries, including specialty expertise in new well sites and production facility electrification.

Job Summary

PLC and HMI programming and integration.

Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade process control systems.

Program and configure various VFDs, pressure, level, flow, temperature and associated process control devices.

Configure communication devices and protocol converters.

Commisioning and P2P checkouts for oil & gas facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Report to NES manager and customer PIC for daily tasks and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Windows OS and Microsoft Ofiice understanding
• Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming knowledge
• Understanding of industrial communications protocols like Ethernet I/P, TCP, Modbus, HART
• Understanding of electrical theory and circuitry

Physical Demands

• Work on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Work in a vehicle at a computer for extended periods of time.
• Climbing stairs and stepping over obstacles often.

Work Environment

Work in customer MCCs, a vehicle, and subject to the outdoor elements.
