Job summary

United Nations in New York seeks a Programme Management Assistant to join the Peacekeeping-Intelligence Coordination Team (PICT). The role focuses on supporting intelligence policy oversight and coordinating guidance across peacekeeping missions under the Department of Peace Operations (DPO).

The incumbent reports to the Senior Programme Management Officer and contributes to integrating efforts across UN, governmental, and non-governmental entities in line with Security Council mandates.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating multi-agency teams is preferred.
• Knowledge of intelligence policy and coordination in peacekeeping contexts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Peacekeeping-Intelligence Coordination Team (PICT) in policy oversight and guideline development.
• Coordinate intelligence-related activities across peacekeeping missions in support of DPO mandates.
• Assist in liaison with UN actors, missions, and partners to align operations with security mandates.
