Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Program Timing Analyst to develop and monitor integrated program timelines for vehicle programs from concept to production. You will ensure proper sequencing, resourcing, and tracking against milestones, providing schedule visibility and risk mitigation.

You will build master schedules, define dependencies, track progress, and prepare executive dashboards for management reviews. Collaboration across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality is essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling, project planning, or timing analysis.
  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing program environments strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive product development processes (APQP, gateway/phase reviews).
  • Understanding of vehicle program milestones (SOP, PPAP, launch, ramp-up).
  • Familiarity with automotive development lifecycle and launch processes.
  • Understanding of engineering, tooling, and manufacturing timing dependencies.
  • Knowledge of supplier readiness and PPAP timing requirements.
  • Awareness of validation, testing, and homologation timing.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain integrated master schedules, milestones, and critical paths aligned with the vehicle product development lifecycle.
  • Define task dependencies, durations, and resource requirements across cross-functional teams.
  • Track program progress against baselines, proactively identifying critical path bottlenecks, delays, and schedule risks.
  • Develop mitigation plans for at-risk activities and escalate timing issues with actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare timing status reports, executive dashboards, and timeline presentations for management gateway reviews.
  • Track and report core timing KPIs, including milestone adherence, schedule slippage, and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure cross-functional timeline alignment.
  • Coordinate critical milestones across functional areas, including sourcing, tooling, validation, and launch timing.
  • Maintain scheduling tools and standardize timing templates across multiple program platforms to ensure data integrity.
  • Drive continuous improvement in program scheduling processes and methodologies.

Job description

The Program Timing Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring integrated program timelines/schedules for vehicle programs. This role ensures that all program activities, from concept through the start of production, are properly sequenced, resourced, and tracked against critical milestones. The analyst provides schedule visibility, identifies timing risks, and supports program teams in delivering on-time vehicle launches.

In this role, you will:
