Job summary

The Wave International is hiring a Program Therapist to deliver individual and group therapy within residential, PHP, and IOP settings in Lake City, FL. The role emphasizes strong clinical judgment, documentation, and collaboration across disciplines.

Candidates must have two years of clinical therapy experience and Florida licensure eligibility; familiarity with EMR systems (ALLEVA) and ASAM-oriented care is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience providing therapy in mental health and/or SUD treatment.
• Knowledge of treatment planning, clinical documentation, therapeutic modalities, and behavioral health regulations.
• Ability to adopt technology quickly, including EMR and digital workflow systems.
• Strong professional boundaries, communication skills, and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy aligned with individualized treatment goals.
• Facilitate group therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities for SUD and co-occurring MH.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (ALLEVA).
• Collaborate with medical, admissions, nursing, and operations teams to support client care.
• Participate actively in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
• Provide crisis support and intervention when clinically necessary.
• Adhere to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, confidentiality policies, and ASAM-aligned treatment approaches.
