Mayhill Hospital, located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is a 59-bed private psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adults and seniors. This role involves performing social services functions, including assisting patients in meeting their bio-psychosocial needs, enabling access to therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health, providing basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services for patients and families, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term family therapy, and offering information and referrals as needed.

Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or a related mental health field from an accredited institution is required.
Experience: Preferably, a minimum of three (3) years in a psychiatric healthcare setting, with experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and strong clinical assessment skills.
License: Must hold a state certification in social work or a related mental health field. LPC-Intern, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW licenses are required.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification, training in Handle with Care and Verbal De-Escalation prior to orientation, and the ability to pass a competency exam. Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime may be necessary.
