Job summary

Millwood Hospital in Arlington, TX seeks a Program Therapist to join the treatment team, delivering patient care and supervision for adults or adolescents in outpatient and inpatient settings.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field, current licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LPC Intern/LPC/LMFT-A/LMFT), CPR, CPI training, and at least one year of psychiatric health care experience. Some driving and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
• Experience: at least 1 year in a psychiatric health care facility with family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.
• License: LMSW, LCSW, LPC Intern, LPC, LMFT-A or LMFT; pursue LCSW licensure.
• Additional: CPR certification and CPI training required before direct patient care; flexible hours/overtime possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care, supervision, interaction and role-modeling as part of the treatment team.
• Organize patient activities, file charts, calculate point sheets and levels.
• Drive vans and manage schedules under supervision of Program Director/Assistant Director.
• Work with adults or adolescents as part of outpatient and inpatient programs.
