Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks a Program Technical Office Engineer to support DeltaV standards on a life sciences mega-project in Ohio. The role partners with PTO Engineering Leads to shape automation standards, templates, and reusable solutions for a world-class program.

You will translate the DeltaV Batch philosophy into practical requirements for facility automation teams and system integrators, and help define software components to be created, modified, or reused across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Controls, Chemical, Computer, or related Engineering.
• Extensive industrial automation experience.
• Strong DeltaV Batch DCS experience.
• Ability to explain DeltaV Batch systems, architectures, software components, and design decisions.
• Strong understanding of batch-automation concepts (units, modules, recipes, sequences, alarms).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve program automation standards, guidance, templates, and reusable technical solutions.
• Provide DeltaV Batch technical expertise across PTO workstreams with interfaces to automation software, hardware, Digital Plant, MES, data, and CSV.
• Translate the program automation philosophy into practical requirements for facility automation teams and system integrators.
• Define DeltaV software components to be created, modified, standardized, or reused across the program.

We're supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We're looking for an Program Technical Office Engineer - Delta V standards to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What You'll Deliver

• Work with PTO Engineering Leads and the PTO Technical Manager to develop, maintain, and improve program automation standards, guidance, templates, and reusable technical solutions.
• Provide DeltaV Batch technical expertise across PTO workstreams, with interfaces to automation software, automation hardware, Digital Plant, MES, data, and CSV.
• Translate the program automation philosophy into practical requirements that facility automation teams and system integrators can consistently implement.
• Help define the DeltaV software components that must be created, modified, standardized, or reused across the program.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, Controls, Chemical, Computer, or a related Engineering discipline; equivalent directly relevant experience may be considered.
• Extensive industrial automation experience.
• Strong substantive DeltaV Batch DCS experience.
• Ability to explain the DeltaV Batch systems, architectures, software components, and design decisions the candidate has personally developed, reviewed, or technically owned.
• Strong understanding of batch-automation concepts such as units, equipment modules, control modules, phases, procedural logic, recipes, sequences, equipment states, alarms, interlocks, and interfaces.
