Job summary

  • Review engineering drawings for accuracy and develop parts lists for procurements.
  • Prepare, monitor, and update spreadsheets for tracking material purchases.
  • Assist in reports and submittals to customers.
  • Assist in proposals by gathering and analyzing cost and schedule data.
  • Track prototype/production status of components for projects.
  • Ensure all projects follow internal processes and use MS Project or similar tools.
  • Develop and track project schedules and identify conflicts with customers/contract requirements.

Job Summary

Partners with the Program/Project Managers in the creation and continuing support to our programs by gathering and integrating project data. Directs and coordinates the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects and production programs within the area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties.

Location is Plymouth, MI.

Essential Functions
  • Meets with internal and external customer representatives and other support contracts while attending meetings for project and procurement status.
  • Responsible for recording and preparing meeting minutes/action items.
  • Maintain action item lists for each project.
  • Provides management with analytical data derived from various reports related to task progression and will participate in program and project reviews.
  • Responsible for reviewing engineering drawings for accuracy and developing parts list used for procurements.
  • Will prepare, monitor, and update spreadsheets for tracking material purchases.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and submittal to internal and external customers.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals by gathering, integrating, and analyzing cost and schedule data.
  • Assists in the tracking of prototype and/or production status of components associated with respective projects.
  • Assure all projects are executed in accordance with Loc’s internal processes.
  • Develop and track project schedules using MS Project or a similar tool.
  • Ensures schedules are met and identifies possible conflicts with customers and contract requirements.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in program coordination, administrative support, project support, or related functions
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or relevant program management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and follow established processes or guidance
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Experience handling sensitive or confidential information appropriately
Education & Experience
  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MS Project and PowerPoint knowledge and experience is preferred.
  • Experience with financial support, developing, tracking, reporting spend plans, and project/task budgets is preferred.
Background Prerequisites

Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks, physical, and controlled substance testing. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain suitability requirements for access to classified information.
