Job summary

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking a seasoned manager to plan and direct developmental services programs within the Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Division. This role supervises the Program Support Section and coordinates waivers and Medicaid State Plan Services.

You will oversee contracts with PLUK, Therap, College of Direct Supports and others, manage program eligibility and IT support systems, and collaborate with state agencies to

Qualifications

Knowledge of program management and evaluation.
Knowledge of developmental disabilities, related Medicaid Services and the developmental disability care system.
Knowledge of personnel management principles and practices.
Knowledge of adult training principles and practices.
Meet minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and related experience.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct developmental services programs within the division.
Supervise the activities of the Program Support Section.
Oversee waivers: 0208 Comprehensive, 1037 Supports for Community Working and Living, 0667 Children’s Autism.
Oversee contracts with providers and state partners, and manage eligibility and IT support systems.
