Job summary

Catalight seeks a Program Supervisor to lead ABA services for children with ASD, conducting assessments, designing programs and delivering direct therapy across telehealth, in-clinic and in-home sessions in the SF Bay Area. You will supervise caregivers, partner with families, and work within multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

The role requires strong ABA knowledge, a related Bachelor's degree, and ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field and 2 years of ABA experience required.
  • Candidates with at least 12 semester units in ABA will be considered if close to experience.
  • Significant knowledge of ABA and familiarity with community resources for children.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify client needs and targets.
  • Design and implement individualized ABA programs and BIPs.
  • Provide direct ABA services to clients and teach new skills.
  • Supervise and mentor caregivers, ensuring fidelity of treatment.
  • Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams; maintain accurate documentation.

The Program Supervisor position offers a rewarding opportunity to utilize your clinical skills and collaborate with a dedicated team. You will conduct assessments, design and implement ABA programs, and provide direct services to children with ASD and other diagnoses. Supervising caregivers, working closely with families, and participating in multidisciplinary teams are key components of this role. Program Supervisors are scheduled a balance of telehealth, in-clinic and in-home client sessions within one of the following regions: Fairfield, CA; Petaluma, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; Dublin, CA; Oakland, CA; San Jose, CA; and Burlingame, CA.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field and 2 years of ABA experience required.
  • Candidates with at least 12 semester units in ABA will be considered if they are close to meeting the experience requirement.
  • Significant knowledge of ABA as a discipline, familiar with the field of ABA, and knowledgeable of other community resources and agencies that serve children.
  • Experience implementing and/or designing ABA programs for individuals with ASD and other diagnoses.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language or a second spoken language preferred.
Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments such as VB-MAPP, SSIS, FAST, Skills Streaming and EFL to identify client strengths, needs, and target behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and best practices in ABA.
  • Provide direct ABA services to clients, implementing interventions and teaching new skills.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in ABA, attend conferences and engage in professional development activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and related computer software.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to policies.
Coaching and Developing Others
  • Supervise and/or mentor caregivers and other direct care staff, ensuring treatment fidelity and providing ongoing support and training.
Decision Making
  • Monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, making data-based decisions to adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing clinical expertise and contributing to collaborative decision-making.
Planning and Organizing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, session notes, and assessment reports.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Building Trusting Relationships
  • Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client’s care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift up to 40 lbs, and be comfortable spending time on your feet.
  • Must be able to manage the physical and emotional demands of the role, including frequent exposure to disability disorders, occasional emergency situations and trauma, and constant client contact requiring concentration and sound decision-making.
  • Occasional driving (to and from office and client homes) is required.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple work sites and client homes; reliable transportation is needed.
Conditions of Employment
  • Must have a valid California Driver's License with insurance and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Must pass health screenings, obtain required vaccinations, and clear TB testing based on company policies.
  • Must obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ).
  • The People & Performance Department will analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
  • Must obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
  • Must obtain and maintain CPR, Safety Care, and National Provider Identifier (NPI) certifications.
