Job summary

CAMBA in New York seeks an Assistant Program Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure contract compliance, and support staff development.

You will train staff, conduct client progress reviews, and coordinate services while advancing program quality and reporting to the Program Manager.

A Master’s in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling and NY licensure within 6 months are required; bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required.
• Must possess or obtain New York State licensure (LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC) within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements and communicate them to staff.
• Train staff in program responsibilities, processes, and procedures.
• Set weekly and monthly performance targets with staff.
• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day activities of direct reporting staff.
• Observe staff interactions with clients and supervisory staff.
• Conduct weekly client progress reviews with staff.
• Perform periodic internal file reviews and QA measures to ensure quality.
