Program Supervisor – Community Based Services
Location: Lewistown, Pennsylvania, United States
Status: Full-time, 37.5+ hours per week Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Pay: Negotiable, based on experience Sign-On Bonus: $1,000
About The Role
As a Program Supervisor – Community-Based Services, you’ll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in building meaningful, connected lives in their communities. You’ll lead staff, oversee program operations, and ensure individuals receive high-quality, person-centered supports that promote independence, choice, and community inclusion.
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s degree (or 60 college credits) and 4 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and/or autism OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience OR Master’s degree and 1 year of related experience.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable compliance regulations (i.e., Chapter 51, 2380, 6400).
- A valid driver’s license and at least 6 months of driving experience.
- Access to a vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection.
- Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand the English language.
- A collaborative, flexible team player with strong organizational and leadership skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong, respectful relationships with individuals and lead staff in delivering meaningful, community-based supports aligned with individual goals and independence.
- Oversee daily program operations, ensuring services are safe, effective, person-centered, and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans, including evaluations and collaboration with Supports Coordinators and interdisciplinary teams.
- Partner with individuals, families, staff, and community organizations to ensure consistent, high-quality supports and positive outcomes.
- Monitor program quality, documentation, and outcomes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and support staff through a Servant Leadership approach, fostering engagement, accountability, and a positive team environment.
