Job summary

Aspiranet is seeking an experienced Program Supervisor for a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) girl cottage in Turlock, CA. The role directs Therapuetic Youth Counselors and partners with Behavioral Health and Social Work teams to provide a structured, safe, and healing environment.

Ideal candidates bring prior supervision in residential care or youth-serving settings, with a strong trauma-informed approach and capability to balance structure with care.

Qualifications

  • MA degree in behavioral science required.
  • 2 years of employment as a social worker in an agency serving children or a residential care program is required.
  • BA + 3 years administrative or supervisory experience over social workers or direct care staff required.
  • Must qualify to be an STRTP Administrator.

Responsibilities

Schedule: Full-Time | Exempt | Shift: Tues- Thurs 12 PM - 8 AM and Fri/Sat 3 PM -11 PM

Department: Residential Division – STRTP Program. Girls Cottage: will have up to 4 girls

Reports to: Director

Pay Range: $70,304 - $72,000

The salary range for this position is $70,304- $72,000 per year for employees hired in the Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. Candidates hired in Southern California or Bay Area locations may have higher starting salaries due to cost of living and market data differences. Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced leader to join our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) as a Program Supervisor for a girl cottage, which has up to four girls at a time. This role is big-picture and multi-site focused, coaching and mentoring Program Supervisors and their teams across cottages to ensure consistent, high-quality, trauma-informed care.

This role is ideal for someone who has supervised teams in residential care, behavioral health, education, facility management, or youth-serving environments — and is ready to lead within a structured, care-focused, and quality-oriented residential setting.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential cottage,supervisingTherapeutic Youth Counselors and partnering with Behavioral Health and Social Work teams to ensure a safe, structured, and healing environment for youth.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Therapeutic Youth Counselors
  • Lead scheduling, training engagement, and performance feedback
  • Foster a positive, accountable team culture
  • Model trauma-informed leadership and conflict resolution
  • Ability to respond to emergencies on-site
  • Operate within residential and community environments
Cottage Operations
  • Manage daily program rhythms, routines, and activities
  • Ensure youth basic needs areconsistently met (appointments, clothing, supplies, rituals, structure)
  • Oversee activity planning (on-site and community-based)
  • Support fiscal and administrative functions within budget parameters
Trauma-Informed Practice & Crisis Leadership
  • Apply and mentor staff in ARC, CRM, ProAct principles, and other program modalities.
  • Lead and debrief crisis interventions
  • Ensure crisis response aligns with agency care and supervision standards
  • Support strength-based, individualized case planning
Compliance & Documentation Oversight
  • Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL), Joint Commission (TJC), and agency standards
  • Oversee documentation quality and timeliness
  • Serve as an agency representative when needed

This role requires someone who canbalance structure and compassion, accountability and support,complianceand care.

Qualifications
  1. MA degree in behavioral science and 2 years employment as a social worker in agency serving children or residential care program OR
  2. BA + 3 years administrative experience or supervisory experience over social work or direct care /or support staff providing direct care services to children in agency or community care facility with licensed capacity of 6 or more. OR
  3. Have completed at least 2 years at an accredited college or university plus at least 5 years administrative experience or supervisory experience over social worker, direct care and/or support staff providing direct services to children in an agency or community care facility with licensed capacity of 6 or more.
  4. Must qualify to be an STRTP Administrator
Work Environment & Schedule
  • On-site role in Turlock, CA.
  • Shift: Tues- Thurs 12 PM - 8 AM and Fri/Sat 3 PM -11 PM
  • Occasional flexibility required to meet program and client needs.
