Community Services Group seeks a Program Supervisor for its Bethlehem, PA IDD Community Home Services. The role oversees direct support staff, coordinates daily schedules and transport, and supports residents in achieving personal goals within a community setting.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license and flexibility to work varied hours. CSFG offers paid orientation, benefits and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisor of the direct support staff; assists in interviewing, hiring, orienting and training.
• Participates in the company’s on-call system for Community Homes and Community-Based Program Supervisors.
• Ensures health, safety and welfare of individuals in the program.
• Coordinates development of schedules, activities and routines; promotes community integration.
• Transports and coordinates transportation for individuals in company vehicles to appointments and activities.
• Serves as an active service team member; communicates with families and other professionals as needed.
• Oversees inventory records for company property and personal items of individuals.
• Accounts for individual funds and petty cash; maintains adequate funds.
• Adheres to program budget for food, supplies and operations.
• Upholds professional ethics; performs direct care staff duties as needed.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for the delegation of work, assignment of duties, completion of tasks of direct support staff and for supporting the principles and values of self-determination, in accordance with Community Services Group policies and applicable regulations. The Program Supervisor reports directly to the Program Manager. This position is part of our Adult Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Community Home Services. This position is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. About our IDD Community Home Services: Our IDD Community Home Services are able to support people at many different levels, including complex medical needs. Those in this program make a home and root their lives in the community. On site staff provide support and supervision, individualized to the needs and abilities of each person. At every level of care, each person is able to grow their life and pursue their goals from the comfort and safety of their home in the community. Working with those we serve, their family members and other providers, our team helps each person to identify meaningful and life fulfilling goals and supports them in taking each step towards realizing and achieving them. Schedules: Full-Time (40 hours per week). CSG is committed to your professional success: CSG’s IDD Services is excited to offer a 2 week paid orientation for this position. Orientation includes the necessary foundational training needed before providing services in the programs and sets you up for a successful career at CSG.
