Corewell Health in Grand Rapids is seeking a Supply Expense Management specialist to drive value analysis across service lines, coordinating VAT processes, product trials, and implementations. You will work with clinicians to select products that balance efficacy, quality, safety and cost.
You will lead VAT meetings, address product concerns, and support the ongoing maturity of value analysis in a large health system, partnering with Sourcing, finance, and operations teams.
Under general supervision, responsible for carrying out supply expense management initiatives and utilizing value analysis process on total annual spend amounts. Identifies and implements strategies to drive system standards, product quality and cost containment while reducing variation. Participates in the value analysis process to provide high quality, efficient and cost-effective products and services. Utilizes organization's methodology for analyzing product/service selection, utilization and costs.
