Job summary

MDH Med Care Prgms - Ofc Medicaid Prgms/Operations in Baltimore is seeking a Program Specialist to support the Maryland Medicaid Hospice program by managing enrollment, administrative processes, and stakeholder communication. You will gather and analyze hospice service data, monitor providers for regulatory compliance, and make recommendations for corrective and innovative actions.

The role is located in the MDH Division of Hospice and PACE Services in Baltimore and operates in a hybrid remote

Qualifications

• Seven years of administrative or professional experience developing or applying policies and regulations in medical assistance, health insurance, or entitlement programs.
• Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience (acceptable substitute)
• Master's degree in related field (acceptable substitute)
• Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license may be required if assigned driving duties
• Current employee of MDH Office of Long-Term Services and Supports (recruitment limited to internal candidates)
