Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Butler, PA seeks a Full-Time Program Specialist to teach individuals with developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible using best practices and technology in a community-based residential setting.

The role requires crisis response, flexible scheduling, and collaborative work with IDT members; starting pay is $50,000 per year. A master’s or bachelor’s degree with related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher with related experience in intellectual disability or autism.
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree with relevant experience and 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete staff evaluations including 90-day and annual reviews.
• Monitor and maintain residential budgets.
• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Monitor and schedule required trainings, seminars, and conferences.
• Prepare progress reports for individuals’ support networks and teams.
• Serve as IDT member and contribute to Individual Habilitation Plan development.
