Job summary

High 5 Adventure Learning Center is seeking a full-time Edge of Leadership Program Specialist to facilitate experiential leadership programming in schools across New Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have experience in educational settings, strong communication skills, and a passion for working with youth.

Responsibilities include leading hands-on learning experiences and building relationships with students and educators. The role offers a salary range of $40,000–$50,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

High 5 Adventure Learning Center is recognized internationally for our leadership in experiential education and adventure learning. Schools, colleges, camps, businesses and organizations across the globe partner with us to unlock the potential of their people. As an educational nonprofit, we believe in experiential learning as a catalyst for positive change—and we’re looking for someone who wants to learn and grow with us. Through our Edge of Leadership (EOL) Program, we help students grow their leadership skills through hands-on learning experiences, reflection, and human connection.

We seek a full‑time Edge of Leadership Program Specialist to join our team. This role works directly in schools, facilitating experiential leadership programming that helps students develop communication, self‑awareness, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.

This position is ideal for an educator, facilitator, or youth development professional who enjoys working with young people, building relationships, and creating engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Edge of Leadership programming in partner schools.
  • Lead experiential, activity‑based learning experiences for students.
  • Build positive relationships with students, educators, and school partners.
  • Guide discussions and reflection activities that support student growth.
  • Adapt programming to meet the needs of different classrooms and student groups.
  • Collaborate closely with the EOL team and school partners.
  • Support outdoor experiential learning programs and challenge course activities (training provided).
  • Assist with program planning, administration, and special projects.
  • Travel regionally to partner schools as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with youth in educational, experiential, outdoor, or youth development settings.
  • Strong facilitation and group leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing group dynamics and learning environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in experiential education, outdoor education, leadership development, or social‑emotional learning.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $40,000–$50,000, commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.
