Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Program Security Assistant to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area. The PSA provides support to Government security officers and program activities, including handling access requests, database checks, and security briefings.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with personnel security support and handling reportable information.
• Experience providing customer service for program security support.
• Familiarity with in-processing/out-processing transactions and SCI indoctrinations.
• Experience briefing military, civilian and contractor personnel.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25% and work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Process access requests ensuring proper security paperwork is prepared and submitted.
• Support the resolution of access and clearance issues by checking various databases.
• Maintain and update program security files and associated databases.
• Plan, organize, and implement procedures to protect government security files and documentation.
• Provide ad hoc security support to conferences and program activities as directed.
• Provide daily support to couriering and handling of classified and unclassified documents.
• Domestic travel up to 25%.
