Job summary

CorSource Technology Group in Portland is seeking a Program Support Specialist 1 to support the Personnel and Information Security (PERSEC/INFOSEC) function. The role focuses on onboarding, badging, PIV processes, and assisting with audits while coordinating with federal and contract workers.

The assignment requires handling sensitive information with confidentiality and meeting background and compliance requirements. It is a 12-month engagement based in Portland, OR.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred in a related field (Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Computer Science, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field (Business Admin, Criminal Justice, Project Management, or similar).
• With an Associate’s degree: 1+ years of directly related experience; with a Bachelor’s: 3+ years; with no degree: 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and maintain all required personnel security records per guidelines.
• Process applicants through e-APP system and verify information before submission to OPM.
• Perform PIV-related duties including fingerprints and identity document review.
• Analyze, model, and recommend efficiency improvements; present findings to management.
• Support audits and compliance by collecting artifacts and coordinating with security staff.
