Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Program Safety Advisor for Management of Change (MoC) within the Safety Management System (SMS). The role leads the MoC process, guides implementation with stakeholders, and ensures changes to worker safety are evaluated and planned prior to execution.

In this job, you’ll be responsible for leading the MoC process for the SMS team, ensuring changes related to worker safety are effectively implemented and do not introduce new risks or gaps to the organization.
The advisor in this role will be the SMS MoC subject matter expert and will guide the implementation of the MoC process with key stakeholders. The MoC process ensures that changes that can impact worker safety are defined, evaluated, and properly planned prior to implementation. They will partner and collaborate with Safety leaders, consultants, subject matter experts, OU leaders, and key partners to ensure they are following the MoC process as intended. The advisor will ensure that every change is carefully evaluated, planned, reviewed, approved, communicated, and controlled prior to execution.
This advisor will also contribute to the broader safety culture transformation, serious injury and fatality elimination and overall injury reduction.
