Electric Boat (EB) is growing its Digital Enterprise implemented in support of the COLUMBIA and VIRGINIA Programs. EB’s Digital Enterprise is the set of digital tools, processes and procedures which utilizes, but is not limited to, Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management and NX CAD for the design, planning, material procurement, construction, certification, and maintenance of our submarines. EB continues to define, refine, and execute its strategy to enhance and transform its Digital Enterprise and maintain our position of being an industry leader in Digital for shipbuilding.

The Digital Enterprise (DE) Program Office is searching for a highly-motivated problem solver, with a passion for innovation and project management as a Digital Enterprise Program Representative within either the Planning Value Stream, Supply Chain Value Stream, Sustainment Value Stream, Design Disclosure and Change Value Stream, Test, Quality, and Certification Value Stream, and Digital Data Quality.

The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Managing execution of future programs digital milestones and key decisions

The ideal candidate has experience in project management and is seeking an opportunity to steer the program’s digital direction; formal calculations are not a primary responsibility in this position. They will also have a high-level understanding of design/build/sustainment processes and be able to think strategically while acting tactically to execute multiple projects concurrently. The candidate will be customer-focused and must have strong problem solving skills, writing/presentation skills, and organizational skills and be able to clearly communicate with all levels of the organization within Electric Boat and our external partners and customers, including Newport News Shipbuilding and the Navy. The successful applicant should be a self-starter, who takes initiative and will drive issues to resolution.

Electric Boat offers Flexible Work Arrangements that allows some work to be performed remotely at home. This varies from position to position based on the amount of classified material the department interacts with a well as a few other variables like in-person meetings. Qualifications

Required

• Detail oriented with computer software experience and possesses strong communication, technical, and project management skills.
