Qualifications

• Ability to work on-site in Windsor Locks, CT.

• Facilitate Preventative & Corrective actions with Design, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.

• Resolve critical issues using 8D methodology for timely turnaround.
• Use metrics to create, lead, and implement improvements for customer satisfaction.
• Communicate improvement plans and progress to stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate with sites to develop and implement improvements using CI tools.
• Champion and execute quality initiatives including ZDP and PPAP.

Job Summary

Belcan is seeking a Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to support our customer in Windsor, CT. This person will request, analyze, and report on open investigations related to LME program. This will include disposition of Collins investigations as well as working with PW.

Hybrid work arrangement

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordination of customer quality interfacing; including customer reviews, audits and senior level presentations.


• Facilitate Preventative & Corrective actions concurrently with the internal quality organizations (Design, Operations, and Supply Chain)


• Coordinate/manage customer issues in a timely and professional manner to achieve business unit goals


• Facilitate resolving critical issues/situations (including Quality Clinic activity via 8D methodology for product failures) to ensure timely turnaround time


• Use customer and internal metrics to create, lead and implement improvements for customer satisfaction.


• Clearly communicate improvement plans and progress to internal stakeholders and customers.


• Collaborate with sites and teams to develop and implement improvements using various continuous improvement tools


• Champion and execute quality initiatives including ZDP and PPAP implementation
