Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Program Protection Security Specialist to coordinate safeguards across government and contractor teams, develop protection plans, and monitor vulnerabilities to protect critical assets. This role requires TS clearance and deep experience in SAP/SCI environments.

You will lead multiple security efforts, prepare briefings and SOPs, and ensure security considerations are embedded in program planning and execution. A relevant degree plus 4+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments.
  • Experience developing security plans, program protection plans, Security Classification Guides, and OPSEC plans.
  • Experience preparing briefings, reports, SOPs, and indoctrination training.
  • Ability to coordinate across government, contractor, and external stakeholders, and lead teams in classified settings.
  • Ability to lead multiple security efforts independently.
  • Top Secret clearance required.
  • 4+ years in program protection or related field; or advanced degree with similar experience.

Support risk-informed protection strategies, develop and maintain protective documentation, and coordinate security measures across engineering, acquisition, operations, security, and other functional stakeholders. Evaluate vulnerabilities and dependencies, translate identified risks into practical controls, and monitor implementation throughout program activities by maintaining a coherent view of threats, critical assets, and protective actions. Advise customers in making informed decisions and ensure that security considerations are embedded in technical and operational planning. Develop and maintain program-protection plans, strategies, assessments, and supporting documentation. Identify critical assets requiring coordinated protection, assess vulnerabilities and risks, and integrate protective requirements into various activities. Coordinate safeguards with government and technical stakeholders and track implementation of protection measures. Prepare leadership briefings and recommendations and evaluate changes in program activities or threat conditions to update protective strategies.

  • Experience supporting Spe cia l Access Program ( SAP ) and Sensitive Compartmented Information ( SCI ) environments
  • Experience developing security plans, program protection plans, Security Classification Guides, and OPSEC plans
  • Experience preparing briefings, reports, SOPs, and conducting indoctrination training
  • Ability to coordinate across government, contractor, and external stakeholders, and lead teams in classified settings
  • Ability to lead multiple security efforts independently
  • Bachelor’s degree in Critical Infrastructure Protection, Security Science and Technology, or Cybersecurity and 4+ years of experience in program protection, OR Master’s degree in Critical Infrastructure Protection, Security Science and Technology, or Cybersecurity
  • Ability to obtain a Security Professional Education Development ( SPeD ) Certification within 1 year of hire date
