The Red Gate Group is seeking a Program Protection & Physical Security Specialist to provide comprehensive oversight of physical security and program protection for a major Intelligence Community customer's enterprise network program office, safeguarding infrastructure, facilities, personnel, and sensitive information across locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of program protection and physical security experience on IT programs or infrastructure.
• Master's degree or equivalent combination specified in the description.
• Experience developing Program Protection Plans for large government programs.
• Facility security assessment expertise and validating protective measures against Facility Security Levels.
• Experience integrating protection measures across multi-site operations in complex threat environments.
• Knowledge of Interagency Security Committee standards and Unified Facilities Criteria.
• Familiarity with TEMPEST and secure facility requirements.
• Experience with OPSEC, Critical Program Information protection, supply chain risk management, and insider threat mitigation.

Brief Description Protecting a globally distributed secure network is about more than the network itself: the facilities, infrastructure, personnel, and sensitive information behind it face threats that evolve daily across every site. The Red Gate Group is seeking a Program Protection & Physical Security Specialist to provide comprehensive oversight of physical security and program protection for a major Intelligence Community customer's enterprise network program office, safeguarding critical infrastructure, facilities, personnel, and sensitive information across geographically dispersed locations. You will develop and maintain the Program Protection Plan, integrating physical security, OPSEC, Critical Program Information protection, supply chain risk management, and insider threat mitigation across all network facilities, including points of presence, data centers, and operations centers. Applying expert knowledge of Interagency Security Committee standards, Unified Facilities Criteria, program protection planning methodologies, and threat and vulnerability assessment processes, you will build and maintain integrated protection strategies, conduct facility security assessments, and validate protective measures against Facility Security Levels. Day to day, you will manage access control and visitor management systems across program facilities, ensure compliance with TEMPEST and secure facility requirements, manage contractor facility clearance actions, and coordinate security requirements for equipment transportation. You will work closely with organizational security offices spanning physical security, antiterrorism and force protection, personnel security, and emergency management to conduct security surveys, threat briefings, incident investigations, and protection planning for critical program activities. You will also develop security metrics and prepare security posture assessments for governance reviews, deliver security awareness training on physical security protocols and OPSEC principles, and define new and rigorous approaches to complex protection planning, analyzing protection and risk issues across organizational and facility boundaries and articulating key findings to leadership, all while working independently with minimal oversight across multi-site operations in complex threat environments.

You Have

• 8+ years of program protection and physical security experience supporting IT programs or infrastructure, including recent experience within the last 2 years. This experience requirement is firm and cannot be met through education or certifications.
• Master's degree in a related field, or one of the following in its place: an Associate's degree in a related field and 4 additional years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 additional years of relevant experience, or 6 additional years of relevant experience. The additional years used in place of the degree are on top of the 8 year experience requirement above, not counted within it.
• Demonstrated experience developing Program Protection Plans for large-scale government programs
• Comprehensive facility security assessment expertise, including validating protective measures against Facility Security Levels
• Demonstrated success integrating protection measures across multi-site operations in complex threat environments
• Working knowledge of Interagency Security Committee standards and Unified Facilities Criteria
• Familiarity with TEMPEST requirements and secure facility standards
• Experience with OPSEC, Critical Program Information protection, supply chain risk management, and insider threat mitigation programs
• Experience managing contractor facility clearances and access control and visitor management systems
• Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent creative problem-solving skills
• Active TS/SCI clearance
